How to add support for Adobe InDesign version 19.4 to your AccurioPro installation
Adobe InDesign version 19.4 (or newer) requires an update to AccurioPro software. If you have recently updated your version of Adobe InDesign (for Macintosh), you may see one of the following AccurioPro error messages:
This issue affects primarily Macintosh users. If you are not experiencing any of these issues at the moment, you can certainly decide to keep running your current version of AccurioPro and Adobe InDesign. However, please be advised that if you do update to InDesign 19.4 (either manually, or via the automatic update feature of InDesign), and have not updated your AccurioPro software, you may start to encounter these error messages.
In order to fix this issue, you must update your AccurioPro software. The update will require you to activate your AccurioPro software using your product Order Code. If you do not know your current product Order Code, please have a look at this page for more details about how to find it, or open a support ticket and we can look it up for you. The latest version of Adobe InDesign (as of April 2, 2024) is 19.3. The new AccurioPro update is compatible with this version of InDesign, so first be sure that you are running the 19.3 version of InDesign (or newer) before installing the AccurioPro update.
To determine your version of Adobe InDesign, choose InDesign > About InDesign… from under the InDesign menu. Your version will be presented as shown below:
If you are running version 19.2 or an earlier version of Adobe InDesign, please update the application using the Creative Cloud app in the normal fashion. You can click here for more details about how to update your copy of Adobe InDesign.
As mentioned earlier, the AccurioPro update will require you to activate your AccurioPro software using your product Order Code. If you do not know your current product Order Code, please have a look at this page for more details about how to find it, or open a support ticket and we can look it up for you.
Please click one of the buttons below to download the AccurioPro Variable Data installer that matches the platform (Macintosh or Windows) that you are currently running. The same installer will work for both AccurioPro VDP and AccurioPro Catalog users. After downloading the installer, go ahead and run it and simply follow the default prompts.
After installation, go ahead and run your copy of Adobe InDesign. You will be prompted to activate your AccurioPro software. Enter the information shown below, click Activate, and follow the prompts. When you see the splash screen, installation is complete!
